How do you scrub?

There was a time in my life that I absolutely LOVED DYI projects.  Using all kinds of awesome ingredients that do amazing things in your home and in your life!  I would have friends over and we would make HUGE messes in my kitchen concocting potions and connecting in sisterhood.

Then I had Joseph.  Ahh, My sweet Joseph.  He is fast.  He is strong.  He is smart.

He is two.

He is an early riser.  He is hungry.  He has turned our lives into a tornado of laughter and exhaustion.  We are so thankful for his brilliant energy, while we are still trying to recover from it daily.

All that being said, I need quick and efficient projects.  My days of melting on the stove are on hold for now.  They will return, I just know it.  This is my favorite DYI product that meets these categories.  It is done in just minutes, the clean up is ZERO, it works better then anything else I have ever tired, smells great, and the BEST part is my kids can use it too.

At our house, we all know how to make and put this to use.  Joseph is a helper, but not ready to do this job unsupervised.  Mainly because we love to squeeze him and we don’t let him out of our sight.  But our 6 year old Roy, loves to make this and then clean the shower.   His brother helps with the scrubbing and about once a week, ok who am I kidding, like once a month they make the shower shine!  We dump it on the floor and they use scrub brushes and go to town!  Cleaning and boosting their immune systems while they get Mama’s Clean Scrub all over their tiny bodies.

I have kids for this reason, cleaning the shower is my least favorite job!  So thankful for every single tiny victory!!!!

We use this on lots of things, even stains on clothes.  But one really handy way I use this is in the kitchen.  Baked on stains are the worst.  And I don’t have time to soak in my tiny sink.

This is one of my favorite baking dishes.  The glaze isn’t what it use to be and baking in this means major clean up.  We had baked spaghetti last night at Joseph the eaters request.  Picky Roy likes to eat his not so hot, so we had to take some out of the dish and then continue baking.  The empty spot got really stuck and baked into the dish.  Tough cleaning even for a steel brush.

But I don’ have to use those anymore.  I have Mama’s Clean Scrub to the rescue.
